Access maintains strict policies that prohibit bribery and other improper payments to public officials consistent with Australian laws, including the Criminal Code Amendment (Bribery of Foreign Public Officials) Act 1999 (Cth), and similar laws in other countries including the UK Bribery Act 2010, the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention.
Access recognises the importance of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues and considers them when evaluating new investments and in managing our investors’ assets.
Access respects the human rights of those who may be affected by our investment activities and seeks, prior to making an investment, to confirm that investments made on behalf of our investors do not flow to companies that utilise child or forced labour or maintain discriminatory policies or practices.
Access is committed to operate ourselves and to endeavour that our assets or portfolio companies operate in accordance with the UN Global Compact’s 10 Principles.
Access is committed to operate in compliance with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards and the relevant Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines applicable to our sector and ascribes to the principles of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investing (UNPRI).
Access provides timely information to our investors on the matters addressed herein, and works to foster transparency about our activities.
Access encourages their portfolio companies / assets to advance these same principles in a way which is consistent with their fiduciary duties.
